Chef 21 Sushi Burger Simpsonville

We've never a had a bad meal here. My favorite is the Spicy Jalapeno Tuna Burger with a side of seaweed salad. The sushi and appetizers are excellent as well. Highly recommended!

I lived in Simpsonville a couple years ago and I always come back to my favorite hole in the wall sushi! It’s grown so much. I love coming back here for the crab salad and sweet potato fries!!! Apple cider is new, but ai love that too!

Atmosphere: Went in with a friend during a time where there happened to be no other customers so it was really nice and quiet. We wanted sushi and sat in the sushi area of the restaurant. It had leather-like couches for seats and unique lighting/decorations. It smelled a bit like cleaning water and not so much like food, which I liked since it made me feel like the place was very clean, plus the smell of our food couldn't clash with the smell of other foods from earlier in the day. Music was alright and not too loud. It was a bit too cold for me, but I have Raynaud's Syndrome so I was numb by the time we left. If you don't have a sensitivity to cold you'll probably be fine. Food/price: I got one sushi roll for like 17 and a lycheetini, and my total was 30 not including the tip. Friend got a sushi roll and a mocktail for the same price too. The sushi and drinks were all delicious but I'd save this restaurant for special occasions as I definitely plan on going back someday, it's just too out of budget for me to go regularly as a college student. If you have the budget then this might be your next favorite Southeast Asian restaurant in Greenville. They had a sushi dining area, a dining area for noodles(?), and a dining area with open grills to cook your own food South Korean-style. Service: 9/10 the staff were very kind and knowledgeable about the menus. Our server went an extra mile to get my friend and I a couples-looking setup for our sushi even though we aren't dating and hadn't said so either. It was funny, but I think it'd be more effective for actual couples.

I will admit that I am not normally that adventurous in my food choices, but some friends suggested we join them for lunch here. The mixture of Korean and American styling was really neat to see and taste! The chef was right there making the food and joined our conversation several times, answering our questions and checking on how we felt about the food. I’m glad we gave it a try!

BEST place for FRESH sushi, bubble tea, pan-fried pork gyoza & of course, the famous Chef 21 Sushi Burger(with a side of grilled portobello mushrooms)! Another favorite is the Teriyaki Shrimp plate (great alternative for non sushi fans ). Phenomenal service & friendly atmosphere! This is one of my local top 5 favorites!

This was the best lunch I've had in months. The salad ingredients were perfectly fresh, the marinated egg was a great surprise and the sesame dressing is wonderful. The rolls were huge! I couldn't finish them both but they were perfectly made and still crispy and warm by the time I got them home. I will absolutely be back.

First time eating at Chef 21! Was very pleased with what we ordered. We split the Three musketeers roll...it's flavors and textures were on point. We also order the chef 21 sushi burger and it was also delicious. Felt like a comfort meal and the concept was unique!

The place was super busy, but that spoke volumes. It was cozy and fun. Our waitress, Amanda, did an awesome job taking care of us. Our food was very delicious! I cleaned my plate We will definitely be back!
